Lord Jesus, I come to you just as I am. I know that I’ve made mistakes and am in need of forgiveness. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I may also inherit eternal life. Today I open my heart to you and turn away from my old habits. I’m asking that you to come into my life as my Lord and Savior, the Messiah who was mentioned throughout the Bible and in the book of Isaiah. Wash away my sins and help me to follow you each and every day in a manner that is pleasing to God. Thank you for your patience, love and understanding and for giving me another chance to make things right. I pray this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen!
